A two-day Plenary Roundtable was held on Bjelašnica from 12 to 14 November as part of the Project "Support to the Reception and Integration System of Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina Returning on the Basis of Readmission Agreements - Phase II", which is implemented by the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a donation from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The organisation of this event was facilitated, in cooperation with the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, by Hilfswerk International, a long-time partner of the Ministry in the implementation of this Project.

The plenary roundtable was opened by the Minister for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr Sevlid Hurtić.

On that occasion, two important Protocols were solemnly signed, which enable humane return and integration into BiH society for citizens of BiH from vulnerable categories, who are returning on the basis of the Readmission Agreement.

The "Protocol on Cooperation in the Process of Acceptance and Temporary Accommodation of Readmitted Persons in Need of Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Social Welfare Institutions" and the "Protocol on the Procedures of Competent Institutions in the Acceptance, Monitoring, Medical and Social Care and Treatment of Readmitted Persons Addicts to Psychoactive Substances (PAS), Who Are Returning on the Basis of Readmission Agreements" were signed by the Ministers and Directors of Partner Institutions and Institutions that are Partners of the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of BiH in the Development of the aforementioned Protocols.

After the ceremonial signing of both Protocols, the work continued at the plenary round table, with presentations by representatives of the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, presentations by expert consultants on the development of the Protocol, as well as addresses by representatives of other institutions and institutions that are signatories to the two aforementioned Protocols.
